One principle has been retained: “same salary for same work at the same place”
In case of posting employees outside their country of origin, the principle of equal remuneration for the same work at the same place has to be respected.
The duration of the detachments of employees has also been limited to 12 months with this agreement; nevertheless, it may be extended for another 6 months in case a reasonable request is introduced in the host Member State. The transportation sector will not be covered by that agreement.
